What Ketamine Treats

Ketamine fast facts

Ketamine is used safely and routinely  in anesthesia for sedation and to treat pain.

Emerging studies show Ketamine to be a novel and innovative treatment option for numerous chronic conditions.

In contrast to conventional therapies, Ketamine therapy has greater than 70% efficacy in treating depression and anxiety.

These antidepressant effects are seen and felt within hours of an infusion.

While not every patient will benefit from Ketamine infusions, Its response time and efficacy is superior to most conventional therapies making it a realistic option for many.

The effects of ketamine are rapid and robust but those initial effects of the drug can fade quickly, most people will need multiple infusions to see and sustain long term improvements.

who should consider Ketamine?

If your medications are being properly managed and you have not responded sufficiently to at least two different antidepressants, your depression is considered treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and Ketamine infusions may be able to help. If you have suffered from chronic pain for years without improvement, Ketamine is for you. Ketamine therapy may also be a great alternative for people with treatment-refractory generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and PTSD.
